Over 2,000,000 Sq Ft. between the plants.

Do they have any manufacturing at the plants?

Yes.  Doosan does full manufacturing at the plants, from Horizontal FMS Systems to stand alone machines.

Where does Doosan get their castings?

Doosan has their own modern foundry.

How many employees are at Doosan?

Over 1,000.

How many engineers are employed?

Over 250 design engineers.

How much money does Doosan spend on R & D a year?

12 -14 million dollars a year.

How many new models will Doosan introduce in 2006?

Doosan will have 25 new models in 2006 to 2007 combined.

Why does Doosan have such a close relationship with Fanuc?

Doosan is now Fanuc's #1 customer worldwide.  Fanuc is the largest CNC control builder and their quality speaks for itself.

How many machine tools does Doosan ship?

Doosan will ship over 10,000 machines in 2007.

What does Doosan/Protek offer for support in So. California?

Protek has two Tech Centers (Simi Valley and West Coast Tech Center). Also, Doosan has a factory engineer out of the West Coast Tech Center.
