Doosan Infracore has been stepping up its sports marketing activities in the US by acting as a technical sponsor for Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR). The Toyota Camry (No. 20) wearing the Doosan Infracore logo won the Corona Mexico 200, part of the NASCAR Nationwide Series, which was run at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City on April 20. JGR driver Kyle Busch notched up an exciting victory by edging out the second place car by 0.79 seconds.
When Joe Gibbs Racing was established, DoosanInfracore gave four machining centers to assist those developing new race car engines and transmissions. The company has continued to sponsor JGR eversince.
